My little sister has Down's Syndrome, and I love her to death. I love hanging out with my little sister, and I have so much fun watching her participate with everyone in the Special Olympics. There's another little girl that I work for that is deaf in one ear and has special needs. I've worked with her since she was five, and I've watched her grow for the last four to five years. She's a blessing in my life, and I love her dearly. I love working with her and receiving her unconditional love in return. Both her and my little sister are two people whom I wouldn't give up for the world.

I met Joy through Special Olympics. She was there to cheer for her sister and I was a coach. Joy was probably only 11 years old but she quickly made friends with the athletes and my young nephew and niece loved her ( still do). While I was coaching, she supervised and played with them. She did a great job. As the years went by, Joy has continues to be a friend to my Special Olympics team. She has traveled with us and helped out as needed. She is always willing to help regardless of the task.
