My passion for cooking started at the age of 17, when I discovered my first book on nutrition and healthy eating. At that time, I was severely overweight (340 pounds), and through persistence and a constant curiosity about the healing power of food, I lost 120 pounds over 5 years. Learning how to cook literally saved my life, and now I love to make my living providing others with delicious meals that are good for you, one dish at a time!
I take an extremely flexible approach to my services, and can cater to many individual needs. Typically, I provide my clients with a shopping list on Sunday mornings, and then cook 1 to 5 dishes, 4 to 15 servings each dish in their homes one day a week using their own equipment (except for my favorite knife). If they have a preference for locally sourced ingredients, I guide them through the process of ordering through a local CSA.
I have a maximum cap of 4 clients at any given time, so you're assured of my immediate and undivided attention. I use a bicycle as my only means of transportation, and currently serve the following neighborhoods: Downtown, Midtown, some parts of West Midtown, Castleberry Hill, Virginia Highlands, Inman Park, Candler Park, Reynoldstown, Old Fourth Ward, East Atlanta Village, Grant Park, Choosewood Park, Peoplestown and Philadelphia.
I'm excited to hear from you!
