I currently work part time, I care for the elderly and younger mentally ill clients. I provide cooking, companionship, cleaning and some personal care. I am well liked. The family of my client would also provide a reference. I am reliable. I am an excellent/healthy cook. I have passed a criminal background check for this job. My supervisor will give me a great reference. I believe my ability to empathize and advocate for my clients sets me apart from others. I have been working for this company since October 2014. I have good manners and a good sense of humor. I have good customer service skills. When I go home, I feel great about my assistance. I am a proud mother of three educated adult children. I am a great mom. I am CPR certified through 10/2015. Years ago I was a legal advocate for battered women and children with the women's Center. I was proud of the work I did. I have a certificate in massage therapy/health services- YMCA- 1985. I went to school for 1 year. I have taken some CBRF classes and should be on the registry now or soon. I have volunteered at my children's school.
