I have years of experience in babysitting and other various youth work. Growing up in a large family, I have been watching cousins, nieces, and nephews since the age of 13. Along with that, I spent 15 weeks working in a special needs classroom at a middle school. Furthermore, I worked a camp that was specialized for families that have a child/children with autism. Also, I have provided respite services for a family with a 10-year-old son who has autism. I am soon to be a senior studying Recreational Therapy in Indiana University in Bloomington. I am passionate about working with children and take pride in my ability to work with them. I have little experience working with older populations with special needs, but I am confident in my abilities to adapt and would appreciate the experience if it should arise. I have years of experience in many recreation fields and love to engage myself and others in activities.
