My name is Jessica. I am a dedicated human services worker looking for a more fulfilling position. My background is in physical and developmentally disabled children and adults. I worked as a part of the Ability One Program with the blind and visually impaired for two years where I was responsible for training and implementing programs to better empower individuals in the work force again. In my time at a home, I worked in developmental services only. These clients ranged from children to adults, both high functioning to low functioning. I am especially adept working with those with Autism. I have spent years volunteering at my local school district's high school and elementary where I worked with the students. I have also volunteered for years. I pride myself on being a compassionate individual who works to build the best rapport with whomever I work, be they of special needs or just daily care. I am CPR and First aid certified and can show verification of such. I also have CPI (therapeutic physical intervention) certification if it is ever deemed necessary. I have Medication Administration Certification tier 1 as well based on the Department of Developmental Disabilities. I own my own vehicle which is always well maintained; have a clean driving record, and valid full coverage insurance.
