I received my Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology. I was most recently a teacher's assistant and tutor for first grade students. From 2015-2016, I was a classroom instructor in a modified classroom with children who had Autism. From 2014-2015, I was working in a school assisting an individual student who was legally blind, by modifying instructional materials and inscribing exams/recording daily notes. I've volunteered during summers at the Muscular Dystrophy Camp where I lead daily activities and provided children who had neuromuscular diseases with 24 hour care. I volunteer in recreational programs designated for adults with intellectual disabilities. During college, I was an after school counselor for four years where I helped students complete daily homework assignments and facilitated entertainment. Right now I babysit for a few families occasionally. I am patient, kind, energetic and willing to learn!
