I was a caregiver for my grandma who suffered a stroke in the late 90's. Since then I pursued a career in accounting and human resources. It wasn't until an employee had a stroke on premises and I was the first to respond and be there with him and his family in the ICU that I felt it was time to answer a greater calling. I enrolled in vocational nursing school on September 2014 and graduated making the Dean's List with a 3. 61 GPA & Perfect Attendance in April 2016. I currently am a CNA & First Aid/CPR certified. I have experience working with patients of all ages in skilled nursing facilities, sub-acute, med-surg as well as in home who have a variety of medical and psychological conditions. I am passionate about working with people because sometimes it's just those brief moments that you have made a difference in their lives but, the impact that they have made on you lasts a lifetime.
