I've been a caregiver/aide for the past 8 years . I started this back in 2009 when I was 18 and now I'm 27 and I started as a aide for special needs young adults and elderly adults for a non-profit organization called Clearbrook. I also have worked with the Deaf community as well as their Residential Counselor. I have loved this experience being a caregiver and I'm passionate about it, I take care of my residents with care and love . I also have my father that is in a wheelchair and he needs full care now due to his multiple sclerosis. I see my clients as if it was one of my family members. I believe in good work ethic, loyalty and respect, compassion and treat your residents as if they were your family.
