Hello friends! I am excited about adapting my varied experience in the classroom in a nanny position! I am passionate about education. Previously, I was responsible for the young women's program at Hillcrest Youth Center. I continued my career providing academic tutoring to elementary age students with the Boys & Girls Club. Starting in 2009, I began a supervisor position at the San Diego's Boys & Girls Club Len Moore skating facility. After moving to Oakland in 2012, I began teaching in East Oakland in the private sector. I assisted in first grade and team taught kindergarten. Throughout my career, I have balanced strong relationships with families, coworkers and administration. I have demonstrated effective classroom management and have supervised youth in a nonprofit educational setting. Currently, I work full time in a special education classroom at Piedmont Middle School. I am seeking part time work around that schedule. Ideally, weekends and evenings.
