Hello! I have several years' experience working with special needs children in a classroom and home setting; I'm aware of the unique care requirements for individuals with ADHD; autism; developmental delays of all kinds; and a number of different medical limitations. Having survived a traumatic brain injury myself (1996), I am particularly compassionate toward those who are struggling with deficits they have not always had, and are learning to compensate. I am eager to share my patience and positivity with someone who needs my talents; having worked as a teacher of children, I have developed unfailing patience (and as a Christian I strive to be long-suffering), and I demonstrate a tendency to encourage hard work and recognize progress. As an unfailingly positive and energetic person, I will strive to help you make your life and household one of order, cleanliness, and peace. I would be open to a live-in situation with the right family. I am also semi-fluent in Spanish (and improving daily!).
