Although I am young I have had a lot of experience working with many children and adults that have both physical and mental disabilities. My older brother was born with severe cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus. I have spent the majority of my life being one of his primary caregivers. I have had lots of experience with changing diapers, caring for him during seizures, administering medications and using a gastric feeding tube. I have also been a volunteer at a camp designed for children and adults with physical and mental handicaps. Along with this I have a lot of experience babysitting and caring for children with Asperger's, Autism, and Down Syndrome. I am also certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, and a certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide.

Jennifer is my daughter who has helped with her special needs brother since she was able to walk. I am a widow and she babysits, changes diapers, tube feeds him and picks him up from recreational activities if I need the help. She even bought an SUV, so she could transport his wheelchair as needed. Her brother loves her and she handles everything with ease, even his occasional seizure.
