I have worked in the MRDD field for 12 years. I have a diploma in medical assisting. I am eager and ready to work. I have worked as direct support, and recreational coordinator, and as a Home Care Worker 1. I have experience with med passing, dealing with seizures, behavioral issues, among other things. Being in the field for 12 years, I have learned a lot about many different disorders. it has also taught me a lot about myself, patience, and I love knowing that I can help someone and maybe just being there to talk to someone, being a friend. I am looking for a part time job seeing as I have 2 little ones myself, I recently left a job at a factory, it wasn't my cup of tea, I missed helping people and seeing genuine smiles. So I have been a stay at home mom for nearly 3 years now. But with kids going back to school I'd love to find something part time. I am looking for something starting around the time of 9am-2 p.m. please contact me so we can talk.
