About Jennifer

I think children learn best in a fun environment with hands on activities. Students who are behind their peers need pre-teaching and reteaching of material so they can experience success which will build self-esteem. Each learner is unique, and my goal is to help maximize learning and mastery through finding strengths and building upon weaknesses. I have tutored in centers and individually, in addition to, 10 years of classroom teaching experience. I have been tutoring from my home office in Hampstead for the past 9 years. I am very familiar with the curriculum, standards and programs used in the public school systems. I have assisted multiple students with full time distance learning, home schooling, homework support and closing gaps in learning. I am also able to support learning by communicating with my students' teachers. I specialize in helping students with differing learning needs and difficulty learning to read.
