I had the pleasure of meeting Jenna this month during the search for a full-time Nanny. My family just moved from California to Virginia and we do not have family or friends that live in the area. I needed someone to watch my two children while both my husband and I work during the week.
Prior to meeting Jenna in-person I found her to be responsive, friendly and very knowledgeable. I asked her to come in for an interview during the week. The night before our interview the movers called and said they would be arriving with my furniture the next day. My husband was out of town on business and I needed help. I called Jenna immediately and asked if instead of an interview, could we just make it a work day. What a great way to get to know someone!
Jenna came ready to help. She was prepared and she had a great way with the children. She is very experienced and it shows. She asks intelligent questions, she is observant, she is able to exercise good judgment and she is respectful of how you want things done.
I was almost completely distracted with the movers and not once did I feel that my children were not attended to. Jenna had them fed, made sure they took their naps, had quality playtime with both of them, and even helped me unpack. She showed a lot of initiative " never once just sitting around looking for something to do.
Unfortunately for us, we did not hire Jenna. Because of our schedules, my husband and I decided that we could benefit from having a live-in Nanny and that was not an option with Jenna. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for childcare. You can feel confident that if you hire her, your children will be safe, engaged, and happy in Jenna's care. Of course, not all families are alike and you may have some specific questions for me about my experience with Jenna, please do not hesitate to contact me. Jenna has me listed as one of her references.
