I first started taking classes at Pierce College. Comprehensive medical terminology. I eventually went and received my CNA at a facility. My in home care journey started 15 years ago and since then I've become rich with experience with congestive heart failure, stroke, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, hospice, Alzheimer dementia , wound care, Parkinson's, and diabetes to name some off the top of my head. I've learned good R. o. m techniques and ways to add to a clients every day activities of daily living. I cook and clean assist with ambulating, toileting, bathing and dressing. Think it's very important for caregivers to be able to mesh well with the client and their family. I have references upon request if needed.
