About Jenna

I am currently a 3rd grade teacher at the Alta Vista School in San Francisco and am looking to do some occasional babysitting or tutoring. I have 10 + years of experience babysitting and nannying children of all ages and have been an educator for 7 years. I understand the balance between patiently nurturing children, allowing them to feel a sense of autonomy, and setting clear expectations. I work to engage children in meaningful conversations and help them create safe learning environments where they can get curious, take healthy risks, and play. While I want to develop a close and trusting relationship with families I work with, I am only available for part time babysitting. I am available for weekend help, date nights, and occasional after school sitting. Once getting to know each other, I am also available for overnight care.
