I currently work as a part time nanny for two separate families. One child has bipolar disorder and another child with Angelman syndrome. I worked as a support staff at a non profit organization for teens and adults with special needs for about 7 years. Before that I worked at an elementary school as a supervision staff and assisted during physical education at the end of the day for grades kinder through 5th. I've also did volunteer work at a church for 3 years as a Youth Group Leader, as well as an Assistant Teacher in a Confirmation program. I've worked as a care giver for a 40-year-old lady with seizures. Ive worked with a 2-year-old non verbal boy with Autism. I have a pleasure spending time with babies, kids, the intellectually disabled, teens, and even elders. I am also a mom of a 2-year-old girl. I have taken many trainings, are very experienced and I'm also open to addition training if needed.
