I have been involved in the care industry since I was in high school. I have been a certified CNA since 2000. I have worked in several Skilled Nursing Facilities and in Home Care Agency as well. I have been promoted to management positions teaching HHA, and CNAs on how to be more empathetic about being a caregiver. As a Community Care Coordinator I was directly responsible for a team of DCW, and NA, and HHC staff and providing leadership as well as direction to ensure that our clients receive the very best in home care. I have excellent communication skills, eager to instruct and share my knowledge and experience with others. I am very passionate about caring for people because I took care of my mother until she passed away in 2016. There are many benefits to working with the elderly not only is it an important job for our society, caring for our elders can be extremely rewarding and fulfilling too. Working with the elderly gives me valuable insight into the aging process.
