Since I was young, I have always had a passion for helping others, especially children. As soon as I was old enough, I began working with children. The summer after I graduated high school, I started working with children with disabilities, which opened up my heart to a whole new population of individuals. From that point on, each position that I've held has focused on assisting others to reach their full potential. In December of 2009 I graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor degree in Special Education. What I like most about caring for those with special needs is seeing the natural progression of skills. I enjoy developing positive and supportive relationships with everyone I care for and providing them with opportunities to feel successful by highlighting their strengths and teaching them skills that will help them overcome obstacles due to individual weaknesses.
