I'm a single mother of 3 girls, ages 21, 13, & 2. I've worked full time doing waitress, accounting, customer service, and cashier. For the last 10+ years, I've found it more suits my likes and needs to use my caring nurturing motherly qualities in my daily life. The life of a single parent is hectic to say the least, and with my "kids come first" mentality, it can be rather difficult to hold a full time daily job. I was a live in care taker of an 80 yr old woman and her mentally challenged 50 yr old son for 6 years, and for the last 2 1/2 yrs been with my elderly mother as she now requires care. I enjoy the opportunity to help others, to feel needed. It would live the opportunity to help someone else out with little odd jobs around the house, I'm very good with my hands. Maybe some errands you don't have time for? Or maybe your elderly parent just needs someone to check on them once or twice a week, help with the dishes or folding the laundry?
