About James

My name is James. I am an Education major at the University of Minnesota. I have LOTS of experience with kids. I have coached fencing, homeschooled/raised my baby siblings, spent 2 years as a summer camp counselor, and taught preschool in a high school child psychology class. I really love working with kids. It fascinates me how completely different their perspective is from our own. My favorite part of working with kids are the moments where they are having fun and learning without realizing. This is why teaching is my goal career and working with kids is my passion. I have a PASSION for Science and English. Science shows us the beauty of the world around us while English (and writing in other languages, of course) shows the beauty of ourselves and our souls. I look forward to meeting you and your children! I believe I bring a unique, fun perspective to school that I can share with your child (or maybe just octopus facts). They may even learn something in the process
