I have seven years of experience volunteering and working professionally as a caregiver with a focus on special needs children. I have volunteered with adults and children of all ages with disabilities and health problems since age 14. Care-giving has been a lifelong passion. Though I have a lot of experience working with peoples with disabilities, I am more than comfortable working with children with out them. I have experience working with children from ages 1 month to 18 years of age. I volunteered for 4 years in a CBI (Sp-ed) high school classroom, spent a month volunteering in an elementary CBI classroom and spent a month volunteering in a middle school CBI classroom. I have also provided full-time care for multiple families. I usually charge $15 an hour. I am willing to work with each family and pay can depend on hours, days and duties given.
