Having cared for an ailing parent for several years, I gained experience on the needs of individuals who require additional help and assistance. I have worked in several jobs that have enabled me to use my skills to my advantage. Some of these are attention to details, being extremely organized and respectful of the needs of others. Since I am a little older, I have a better understanding of what people need and more patience for those needs. I pride myself on always going above and beyond what is ever asked or required of me. I am reliable, never late (always show up early) and always had an excellent attendance record for work. When I studied nursing back in High School, I excelled at caring for those patients who were older and/or more invalid due to my compassion, respect, empathy and skills.
