I have raised 2 children on my own and currently help/co-parent my 8-year-old granddaughter. I absolutely adore newborn babies. If you wanted to leave your child with your mom during that difficult transition back to work, I am the next best thing! I am very familiar with the needs of a newborn, as my granddaughter has lived with me since birth. She is a blessing and I am privileged to be a part of her upbringing. We have taught her to read, write and do math problems at a very early age. I am old fashioned, soft around the edges and very nurturing. I believe in teaching children to look people in the eye and say hello, thank you and please. But stop! Hold the horses, I am getting way ahead of myself. First a baby needs to learn to talk, walk, trust, and just have fun, and that requires gentle encouragement, patience and a loving caregiver that will assist a working family. They say it takes a village to raise a child. I'd love to be part of your village and your journey.
