About Hope

I'm a certified teacher available for support in a variety of areas. My expertise covers teaching English (reading, writing, editing, reading instruction, phonics, and more) as well as Music (standard musical notation, accordion, trombone). I love learning new things and working with people from a wide range of ages and skill levels (experience working with young children to elderly adults). I also speak intermediate level conversational Spanish and love cooking vegan food, doing crafts, hiking, foraging, and dancing (member of folk dance group in LA). My undergrad is in Instrumental Music Education and I have a Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Lately, I've been observing social distancing, wearing a mask in public, and trying to learn as much as possible about what's going on in the world. Patience, creativity, compassion, and a kind personality characterize some of my style. Thank you and I look forward to working together in our community!
