WOW - where to begin with our beloved Miss Holly?! Her warmth and genuine love for our daughter has created the most loving and happy environment at our house. Most importantly, our daughter absolutely adores her. In fact, one of her first words was (her version of) “Holly”. She crawls right over to the door, with the biggest smile and outstretched arms, when Holly arrives. Even our dog goes nuts when Miss Holly gets to our house! We have seen our child flourish under her care, both emotionally and developmentally. Holly started working with us when our daughter was 4-months old and now, at 14-months old, she is ahead on most milestones in large part due to Holly working with her every day. Holly reads to her, sings and plays songs with her, and works with her on sign language / communication. She would help her with tummy time and sitting up, then crawling and now finally walking. Holly is incredibly knowledgeable about milestones and development, and I’d often ask her questions or bounce ideas / observations off of her. She always recommends creative, age-appropriate activities for our daughter – both in and outside the house. Everything from walks, ornament-making, water table activities, music classes and reading story times. She brought her books, souvenirs from trips, holiday treats and even just-because gifts! She is very communicative, timely, flexible and professional – I don’t think she ever arrived late and was always willing to stay late if we needed it. She was proactive and dove right in on day-one. I appreciated that she took initiative, but also knew when to ask me about something or check in throughout the day. She helped with chores around the house and always asked if there was anything we needed when our daughter was napping. I work-from-home so I was able to see and talk to Holly every day. She is so happy and bubbly - she always came to work with a smile on her face and positive attitude. She is such a joy to be around and fit right into our family dynamic. When we wouldn’t see her for a stretch of time (weekends, vacations, etc.), she would always text and check in on our daughter. Not only has she been such a big part of our daughter’s life, she has had an immeasurable impact on our whole family. We LOVE Miss Holly and are absolutely devastated to be losing her as we are moving out-of-state – and trust me, I already tried to get her to move with us! We are grateful to have her in our lives and wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking an outstanding caregiver. BONUS – She is a skilled baby photographer and takes the best pictures and videos throughout the day! Most of my favorite pictures are ones that Holly captured :)
