Hello my name is Heidi. I am currently finishing up my BA in Social Science, where I've heavily focused my research on Neurodiversity (especially ASD and ADHD). I have 15+ years experience working with children in different capacities. I have worked in the public school system as a paraprofessional and served as a preschool teacher in a private school. I have also served as a house manager, private nanny, and tutor. I have earned several certifications specific to early childhood education. I am a very active, engaged child care provider who focuses heavily on mindfulness, communication, imagination and social and emotional development. I practice gentle discipline, and keep clear, consistent boundaries so children know exactly what is expected, and what they can expect from me. My heart as a nanny is to connect with your child and create both a sense of freedom and safety, so that they can best explore, learn, develop and trust.

Heidi is the best nanny. She has a passion for creativity and for her job. She has fit into my family like if she was one of us. She handled any situation, me forgetting to pack a snack or gym shoes to the kids having a bad morning perfectly. She made a connection with both of my kids right away and never let me or my kids down. She always told me how the day went and always took my kids interest first. She was the first nanny I had and I was nervous because of the early hours but she went above and beyond all expectations I had . She is just amazing. YMCA and school drop offs and breakfast and followed our usual schedule perfectly. She's calm and collective and always knows how to cheer my kids up. Just overall an amazing sitter and person.
