I have spent the last 10 years dedicating myself to something that I am honored to be passionate about. I pride myself in my detailed work ethic, especially when it comes to caring for children. My previous families have found more in me than an employee, but a true part of the family. I love the opportunity to assist as a nanny/caregiver/sitter. To me, it is not a job, it is my passion to serve in bringing up a better generation for the future. I am honored to be the mother of my miracle baby boy. After helping assist so many families with loving and nurturing their children, and doctors saying I may never have my own child, I finally gave birth to my gift from God. I have always focused on the fact that I am not here to watch your child, or just supervise your child. I am here to teach your child, and to educate them throughout their daily schedule. In many cases throughout the years, I have implemented a structured learning schedule for the families I have worked for. This allowed me the chance to address all subjects from reading, math, to the importance of extra-curricular activities. My favorite is incorporating art and music into our day. I have majored in Early Childhood Education (3 1/2 years) throughout the years in an effort to go into a field that I strongly believe in, homeschooling. Maybe it' s my divine love for getting to know the children and developing a bond with them from day one. Maybe it' s the opportunity to become a mentor to children in an effort to prepare them for a healthy, prosperous life. Whatever it is, that has always been my desire. I fully intend on teaching my son in a home school environment from now, until he' s ready to embark on a life of his own. Those who know me consider me to be the nanny that went over and above. Whether it be the daily report card I offer to provide parents with upon return each day, or the attention to detail on making sure that the living spaces are in proper order upon their arrival, families know that I take into account the big picture. I am known to be the one who encouraged children to be the best that they can be. Most importantly, they feel I' m family. I have been blessed to have a continued, positive relationship with past families as my young " kids" have now grown up to be high-schoolers. That is a huge blessing to have been a part of their childhood, and a lifetime friend.
