About Heather

I am not currently available. I am very experienced with caring for children, including 2 of my own, who are now 12 and 9. I cared for them full-time for several years before returning to work outside the home in 2014. I worked part-time as a nanny for 1 child, from Sept 2018-March 2020. I worked part-time as a nanny for 2 children Sept 2017-June 2018, and provided short-term care for 2 children July-Aug 2018. Since 2012 I've provided occasional care for several families. In 2008-09, I worked as a part-time nanny for a 5-yr-old and a 6-month-old. My siblings were born when I was a teen, and I spent many hours caring for them, as well as my cousins. I worked with children ages 5-12 from 2004 to 2011 as a mental health therapist. My background in social work & psychology provides me with a working knowledge of child development, which I have put into practice working with and caring for many children
