I have worked in the special needs field for over 20+ years. I have worked in public schools, private special needs schools, early intervention, and pediatric medical daycare center. I cared for several children one-on-one in their home. For 11 years, I started, owned, and directed a child care center for up to 60 children. We specialized in taking children with special needs and medical needs. Unfortunately we needed to close due to funding. I love working children with all kinds of abilities. Intensive special needs and medical needs are my area of specialty. I have a strong desire to get back to providing one-on-one care. I have worked with all kinds of diagnoses. I have also worked with therapists of all kinds. I know how to integrate and follow through on their goals. I have the ability to develop and implement my own appropriate goals. I have a strong ability to plan educational and fun activities. I have strong love of children and helping them achieve all that they can.
