I am in OT school so I am learning about the many qualities necessary for providing outstanding care in an effort to return someone's functional capabilities. As a current CNA I have provided assistance for those who either temporarily or more permanently living in a nursing home. In high school I was a Peer Assistant in Leadership. During summers I would volunteer at my churches Vacation Bible School. At University of Houston I was a part of the Metropolitan Volunteer Program. UH also afforded me the opportunity to serve as a mentor to a student in Middle School. Following matriculation, I sought to continue my volunteer experience with a group formed through social media.
