I have experience working at a Skilled Nursing Facility where I am a CNA. I've done so at the PRN (part-time) level because I am simultaneously attending Occupational Therapy graduate school at Texas Woman's University. Our Fall 2020 semester - albeit largely conducted online with the exception of in-person labs - focused on appropriately administering care for those 65+. Mind you, this care was oriented towards treating individuals experiencing abnormal difficulties often due to circumstances beyond their control. That said, to be able to treat this type of individual, you need to demonstrate sound reasoning and judgement for what should normally be occurring. I feel competent in my ability to assist someone with their aging experience. I have and am still being trained with regards to how to best alleviate concerns regarding personal performance. Please allow me to demonstrate these capabilities for your family.
