My mom is a speech therapist, I have been around children with special needs for my entire life. I grew up to be extremely understanding and caring towards any one with special needs. I have volunteered at United Cerebral Palsy and The Riley Center, a center and a school for many years now. I have the most experience with children with autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. I have cared for many children with physical and dietary restrictions. I am also certified in CPR, First Aid, and CERT. I am trained in EpiPen administration. I am a part time student at Calhoun, but I am attending UAB next fall and have been admitted to the Occupational Therapy Fast Track Program, where I hope to continue my passion for special needs. I am willing to give transportation to children and have an extremely flexible schedule. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.
