I started working at an inclusion program, summer 2010. As an inclusion counselor, I was assigned to one camper with special needs. All counselors work together to create an inclusive environment for all children at camp. That summer, I decided working with children, specifically children with special needs was my passion. I have worked every summer since 2010. I went on to become one of two head inclusion counselors for the entire camp. I am now getting my MSW with a concentration in working with children. I am looking for a full-time nanny position for the summer.

Hannah is my daughter. She is a graduate of UMD in the field of Family Sciences. About 5 years ago, she was hired as a counselor in their special needs inclusion camp. She had done a lot of babysitting in her teen years, but the camp introduced her for the first time to a community of children with special needs and she was in love. She has continued to work at the same camp each summer and as a paraprofessional (aide) in the system, always with autistic or other children with special needs. She has an amazing gift with children and can be trusted completely.
