About Hannah

I am relatively new to the area and am looking to support my new community! I am a college-educated dance instructor with several years of experience teaching dance in a variety of styles to ages 5-18. Additionally, I spent a semester of college with Detroit Fellows Tutoring, teaching one-on-one reading and phonics lessons to at-risk Detroit Public School elementary students. I have 1. 5 years of experience working as an assistant teacher in a 4-year-old preschool classroom, where I also managed the art curriculum. Most recently, I worked as a Literacy Interventionist for Saline Area Schools, helping below-benchmark students develop literacy skills. My artistic background in combination with my teaching experience helps me introduce creative perspectives to any topic. I LOVE to learn, and it warms my heart to help others find the same enthusiasm!
