I first started working for the Autism Society as a summer counselor at Camp Royally in May of 2012. I continued to work during the summer in 2013 and 2014. I also worked during their after school program and currently still participate in year round events like weekend camps. Through this experience, I became involved in direct care services and private pay care for children with special needs. In June 2015, I became in involved with the Arc of the Triangle, and currently live with a family where I work with all three of their children on the Autism spectrum. I also teach at a special needs private school in Raleigh where PECS and ABA are a key part of teaching and communication.
