I've always been extremely passionate about helping people, no matter what age or disability. I used to babysit a 7-year-old boy with Autism, who had trouble communicating and needed assistance with diaper changing, meal preparation, and learning words. I also worked for an adult special needs camp in which I was a one-on-one counselor to three specific campers with various disabilities (duties included bathing, administering medicines, and dissolving tantrums). I also was a nanny to an 8-month-old boy who had developmental delays. All of my other jobs in the past (child care, nannying, and working in an animal shelter) have all been empathy-based jobs that require my full devotion and attention to, and I loved every one of them. I am certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, as well as a certified Doula with experience caring for infants and postpartum moms. My location currently says NY, but I will be moving down to York, South Caroline in June!
