I have been working with seniors for 6 years at a variety of locations such as day centers, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. I love getting to know those I work with and help them enjoy life to its fullest. I received my Masters degree in recreational therapy from Clemson University and am a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist) who focuses on improving the quality of life for seniors. I have received training on assisting people transferring and standing up. I also enjoy cooking and spent a summer working as a housekeeper for a hotel conference center. My hobbies include: cooking, crocheting, board games, jigsaw puzzles, crafts/art, telling puns, swimming, gardening, and thrift shopping. Let me bring a smile to your face.
