My daycare curriculum was based on learning through play, and some of my services included pickup and drop-off, preschool and after school care, weekend house cleaning, grocery shopping, and weekly preparation of creative, nutritious meals for the whole family.
I love caring for children but was forced to close my program due to water damage to my home, from the March 2010 storm.
Instead of quitting the childcare profession, I decided to enter the nanny/housekeeping/home management profession.
Since then, I have been taking care of families' cooking and cleaning needs, and loving it. I have been catering to stay-at-home moms and dads, offering a unique in-home child and family care program that give us both flexibility, with additional care available during the summer break, holidays, weekends, and on family vacations if needed.
As for meal preparation; I am trained in Culinary Arts & Safe Food Handling, meal planning, and precautionary sanitation.
I have three years of college and am currently seeking a stable position with a loving family who can utilize all my professional skills. I am a hard worker, an excellent communicator with strong problem solving/organizational skills and the ability to work well with people of all backgrounds.
I am a US citizen with a valid driver's license and dependable transportation. I am currently up to date on all immunizations (including Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B).
