I began babysitting at an early age (about 12) for family and family friends. I have my Bachelor of Science in Art Therapy, with a sub-major in Psychology. I am certified in First Aid and adult, child, and infant CPR. I find myself to be compassionate, responsible, outgoing, optimistic, and organized. Throughout my years of experience I grew to love the idea that I was becoming a role model and teacher for children. With my degree I have had the privilege to work with families of different backgrounds, and learn through diversity within cultures how to manipulate ways of teaching and caring for children. Whether they be neuro-typical or have developmental delays. I have worked as a professional full time nanny, creating curriculum for the children; focusing on arts, music, gross/fine motor play, science, math, and language. Along with my nanny experience, my career has opened doors to gaining knowledge of intensive ABA (applied behavior analysis) and the Denver Model.
