About Gloria

I'm a private tutor with 16 years experience working with kids with Autism and Asperger's Syndrome, with an age range from 3 to 19 years old. I have worked one-on-one on DTT and Verbal Behavior programs. I am experienced in the PECS System and American Sign Language, to help our non-verbal kids to transit to inter-verbal therapy. I am knowledgeable about Occupational Therapy techniques, brushing, gross motor, fine motor, brain exercises, etc. I'm familiar and enthusiastic about every part of a therapy session, including: potty training, projects, walks around the block, as well as teaching more sophisticated lessons to a teenager, from grammar, reading and comprehension, to math and science projects, you name it! I love everything! At the same time I have had the opportunity to work with typical kids in a range of 4 to 14 years old. Implementing all the techniques I have learned I am able to teach the typical kids in a more efficient and fast way. I guarantee results. I am experienced in Math, English, Reading and Comprehension, Science, Social Studies, History, Phonics, and Writing. I am a very involved, honest, respectful, caring and loving person.
