Hello My name is Gianna I am a 23-year-old recent graduate with a bachelors in speech and language pathology. I am moving to Monroe Louisiana to peruse my master s degree in speech pathology in the Fall. I have had babysitting experience since the age of 13 and recently have been a Girl Scout leader for the past two years along with various volunteer jobs working with children with special needs. I have worked with a program called "Playground Partners" that integrates special needs children with typically developing children in the school setting. I have a lot taken several college courses on child development and one on Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have a great affinity for children and plan to work with them throughout my career once I earn my masters degree. My style of care taking is very child centered and interactive. I like to find out what the child likes doing and create activates around that interest. My education has trained me to be organized and plan activities that are engaging and educational.
