I recently graduated from SDSU this past May with a BS in Kinesiology. Upon matriculating into SDSU, I wanted to be a physical therapist. It was not until my second year of undergrad that I decided to become a physician instead. When I made the switch, I was captivated by taking a variety of science courses such as biochemistry, molecular biology, and organic chemistry. After spending countless hours studying in the library, interning at a hospital, and shadowing medical doctors, I can finally say that I am applying to medical schools. Since the application process is over a year long, my goal is to save money to help pay for my living expenses while in medical school. Aside from tutoring fellow classmates at SDSU, I am also volunteering as a second grade tutor for math and reading in underserved communities. As a tutor, my aspiration is to provide students with the confidence and skills needed to succeed in their own academic endeavors.
