Hello, my name is Evette. I am in search of day, night and weekend positions. I currently nanny for one family M, T, H, F from 6:00am-8:30 a.m. and 4:00pm-8:00/8:30 p.m. and W from 6:00am-12:00 p.m. and 4:30pm-8:00/8:30 p.m. I am a recent college graduate with an individualized study bachelors of science degree focused in Special Education, Language Literature and Writing and Psychology. I have over 2, 000 hours of experience in licensed day care settings as well as one year of being a Lead Teacher in a pre-k classroom. I have, throughout educational and personal ventures, experienced over 1, 000 hours in middle and high school classrooms as well as having served one year with a non-profit education program in a Detroit Public School. The last two years I have spent teaching swim lessons from ages 4 months through adults. I have also worked in an adult care facility for clients with traumatic brain injuries where I was responsible in assisting in activities of daily living, transportation and transfers from wheel chairs to bed/therapy equipment. I am interested in care positions for "date nights", or as fits, in-between the shifts of my current job. I am comfortable with pets and willing to assist with house hold chores too as well as tutoring/homework help. I have been trained as a peer mediator, in non-violent crisis intervention, cultural sensitivities, family support, and have held first aid, red cross and AED certification for 8+ years.
