About Evelyn

I've been working with kids for over 4 years now. I started with sitting, but I have a strong drive toward academics. I taught full immersion Spanish classes to elementary students for a year at my school in New Hampshire and I have earned a certification in teaching English as a second language. Last year, I worked with City Year to lead small lessons in math, mentor and tutor a select group of students, be an aide to bilingual classrooms, and coordinate math events for students at a DPS elementary school. This year, I am a wellness teacher to fifth graders in a hybrid elementary school in the district. I am very open to both tutoring and normal childcare, but I've always loved to experience the moment when things click and a child develops a new sense of confidence, so I always have a lot to teach.
