After high school, I babysat every chance I got over the summers and missed spending time with children when I was bogged down with school work during the year. During college, I worked as a camp counselor for three summers a YMCA, working specifically with 7 to 10-year-olds.
After graduating from college in 2011, I was a temporary nanny for a family in the Philadelphia area before moving to Europe for a few months. Upon my return in January 2012, I became a full-time nanny for a family with a toddler and an infant. I worked for them for about eight months, and enjoyed every moment of my time with the girls.
I left my full-time position to move to the Graduate Hospital area of the city and begin my MA in History. During the past year, I babysat part-time for an infant (now a toddler!) for the entire year. I have also worked occasionally for two separate families with newborns (6 weeks when I started). This summer I babysat part-time for a2-year-old who is beginning school full time this fall.
I am currently searching for a part-time position this fall. Due to my class schedule, I am available every morning until around noon. Additionally, I am available all day Mondays, until 3 p.m. Wednesdays, and most Fridays. I have extensive experience and absolutely love spending time with children of all ages.
