For one academic year, I facilitated the coursework and supplemental instruction of four first-grade students enrolled in Wake County's Virtual Academy. Because the virtual lessons provided by the county proved unsuccessful at engaging the children, I planned and facilitated lessons for the subjects, supplemental activities and facilitate the completion of the virtual academy coursework. In collaboration with the parents, I delivered personalized educational, behavioral and social support to teach individual student to ensure the children's needs are met in order to ensure positive learning outcomes.
