I'm naturally good with kids and I have been taking care of kids since I was 16-years-old (I'm 30 now). In these years of work I got a lot experience with them. I'm not afraid to be silly and playful around them but at the same time I take the job seriously and provide them security and keep them safe. I know how responsible I have to be to watch your kids and I will put their safety first, always. Usually, with the kids that I take care of I take them to the zoo, parks, after school activities, swimming pools, indoor playgrounds. Wherever the parents need me to take them. I also help with homework (especially math), prepare their food, keep their toys clean and organized, do their laundry, teach songs, and do arts. I have CPR and First Aid training, no records on driving, reliable car that fits 2 car seats. I'm going to Western Washington University for physics at the moment, so a weekend or evening position would be ideal for me. I am truly looking forward to talk to you.

We love Erika! The only reason we parted with her is that she moved and her commute became a 5+ hour daily ordeal! Seriously. And for an entire month after this move, she volunteered to stay on with us as long as we needed until we were able to find a great replacement. My husband and I can't say enough about Erika. We knew we wanted to hire her the moment we met her. Our daughter (who was then 20 months and wary of strangers at the time) felt comfortable with her immediately. Erika has a calmness and kindness about her that is incredibly reassuring. During Erika's first week with us, our daughter got sick with a fever, and Erika was so patient and careful. For the past 7 months, Erika took our daughter out for activities whenever possible, but she found fun things to do in the house, too, including hide and seek, re-enacting with toys stuff they did earlier, and, (this almost made me cry when I saw it), play 'class' with a bunch of animals. So darn cute! Erika is a little shy and she is not at all intrusive. But don't be fooled: she pays attention, is tough, has a great sense of humor, is always thoughtful, and really understands kids. I loved that she noticed things to tell me about our daughter because it was obvious Erika cared a great deal about her, too. She'll be a great mom one day. We will miss her but definitely plan to stay in touch!
