About Erica

Hi! I am a full-time nanny since graduating college in 2022. I have 3. 5 years of experience as a nanny, with the majority of my experience caring for newborn-3 years old. I worked as a preschool teacher throughout college as well, which taught me many valuable teaching strategies and childcare skills. I received a degree in health science from the University of Missouri and worked in the Emergency Room at Children's Mercy Hospital in downtown KC for one year! My style of nannying encompasses a variety methods and skills. I believe that children should be heard and taught how to feel/navigate their emotions as they arise. As a caregiver, I tend to use a gentle approach by asking children to identify how they are feeling and why. I aim to create a safe and enriching environment for my nanny kids to learn and experience the world through adventure. I am comfortable driving children if a certified and age-appropriate car-seat is provided. I am CPR certified in adult, child, and infant.
