About Emmerson
My name is Emmerson , and I have 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I am a certified teacher with 10 subject areas which include English, Social Science, Middle Grades Math, Gifted, Educational Leadership, ESOL, Reading, Elementary Education, and Special Education. I have a Bachelors of Science (B. S) in Psychology and Masters of Art (M. A.) in Educational Leadership. I have taught at all levels of the educational spectrum from elementary to college. My educational philosophy centers on the premise that all students can learn, but not all learners learn the same. Therefore, I have learned to integrate many different subject areas together, differentiate instruction to match my students and their circumstances, and seek to understand the psychoemotional backgrounds of my students in order to properly taylor my instruction to their needs.
